PLEASE NOTE: By purchasing a puppy or dog (online or in person) from Outwest Puppies, the purchaser understands and agrees to all the terms and conditions of this agreement.
The following limited health guarantee applies only to the purchaser. This agreement is to protect both the purchaser and seller and covers the cost of the dog only.
To qualify for the limited guarantees described below, the purchaser must have this puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within the first 48 hours. The 48 hours starts at time of shipping (if puppy is shipped by aircraft carrier) or possession of the puppy (if puppy is received in person from Outwest Puppies).
This puppy is guaranteed to be of sound health and temperament at the time of purchase. If a problem is detected, the purchaser must notify the seller the day of the initial exam to make a claim for a replacement. No guarantee is made on problems not detected by a veterinarian. If there is a question regarding a defect, the seller has the right to a second opinion from a licensed veterinarian of his/her choice and that second opinion will take precedence over the first.
If the puppy is found to have a major congenital defect (a defect that would prohibit the dog from leading a normal pet life), he is to be returned within 24 hours of the exam and a replacement puppy (of equal or lesser value) will be made available, providing that the seller receives written confirmation of the specific defect from the examining veterinarian. If the purchaser decides to keep the puppy, he/she accepts all medical costs.
Common problems or problems brought on by the purchaser (such as an injury, illness, or immunizable disease) prior to the exam by the veterinarian are not guaranteed by the seller and are the responsibility of the purchaser. We are not responsible for any associated charges such as vet fees, treatment costs, shipping fees, transportation costs, or mental stress.
This puppy is sold as a pet only, there is no guarantee as to adult size, color, quality, fertility, or future offspring. Failure to provide proper care and health management (including a proper diet and regular veterinary care) shall void this agreement.
